ABOUT US

No1 First Aid Instructors

We provide bespoke local first aid training wherever and whenever you need it. We recognise that providing first aid training can be a chore and we aim to take this burden from you and deliver a convenient, professional training experience while providing you with the confidence and assurance of full compliance with the regulatory body for First Aid, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). Our qualified first aid instructors are registered with an OFQUAL regulated awarding body, First Aid Awards Ltd, and therefore all our courses carry a national accreditation which is valid for 3 years.

COLETTE - First Aid Course Instructor

COLETTE

Colette has always regarded emergency first aid as an essential life skill and believes a little relevant training goes a long way.  She qualified in 2016 with Nuco Training, which has the largest network of First Aid instructors in the UK, and founded No1 First Aid Instructors in the same year. Her aim is to deliver high quality, easily accessible, reasonably priced first aid training in the West London area for both inside and outside of the workplace.

Gary - First Aid Course Instructor

GARY

As a very active sports person, Gary has always taken a keen interest in all matters to do with health and wellbeing and in particular with injury prevention and treatment. Following his own experience with atrial fibrillation and his subsequent research into different cardiac conditions, he decided to become a First Aid Instructor and teach others essential life skills. He qualified with Nuco Training in January 2022 and has been delivering engaging on site courses to a wide range of learners in Greater London, Surrey and Buckinghamshire.

We run paediatric and adult emergency first aid courses, or as is often appropriate, we can incorporate the recommended protocols for both children and adults into one first aid training course. Our first aid at work training courses can cater for up to 12 learners, are great value for money and ideal for any environment that needs confident, knowledgeable first aiders on site. We love to train in all environments so whether you are a local school, nursery, shop, office, home, voluntary organisation or sports clubs, we have a tailor made course to ensure your first aid provision is ‘adequate and appropriate in the circumstances’ (H&S (First Aid) Regulations 1981) while being fun and engaging for your first aiders.

Our first aid trainers come from professional backgrounds and are committed to delivering first aid training in line with approved guidelines and current best practice

Vision4Growth's objectives include creating opportunities for blind and partially sighted people. This is both through independent lifestyles and training. As part of our work with the Tennis Foundation we are required to maintain our First Aid qualifications to support our clients.

Accessing training facilities is often a stressful activity for us, because we are unable to read normal text and understand the demonstrations, as we cannot see very far.

Colette provided a friendly environment within a well lit area which meant people could communicate to each other more clearly. The demonstrations were clearly described and a lot of interactions were encouraged when using specific pieces of equipment. The delivery style was structured and informative. I learnt a great deal from the course and would certainly recommend No1 First Aid Instructors Ltd, to other groups, especially disabled people who I feel would really benefit from this style of training.
