Emergency First Aid at Work Course
COURSE LENGTH: 1 DAY
This course was introduced by the Health & Safety Executive in 2009 to enable a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill at work. Learners will acquire the skills and knowledge to give treatment to any casualty in a prompt, safe and effective manner. It is suitable for employees or volunteers in any sector and provides good basic life support skills for small to medium sized organizations in low hazard environments.
No previous First Aid experience is necessary. Certificates are valid for 3 years. Minimum six contact hours with practical and theoretical activities.
